Alan Bush

Alan has been a member of Bethany since 1990 but has attended Bethany with his family all his life, as his family maintained a farm in Simpson County, Kentucky. Alan's grandfather, James Bush, was one of the founding members of Bethany.
Alan grew up in Indianapolis, IN, where his family attended Shelbyville Road Church of Christ and Garfield Heights Church of Christ, now called Stop 11 Road Church of Christ.
Alan moved to Bowling Green in 1987 to attend Western Kentucky University. He met his wife, Melissa Dawn Williams, at Western while living at the Church of Christ Student Center. Melissa is the daughter of Charles R. Williams of Gallatin/Portland. He preached for close to 65 years. Jimmy Law

Jimmy was born and raised in Simpson County, Ky. He has worked in many aspects of agriculture all his life but is currently involved in hay work and raising beef cattle. He has attended Bethany for over 35 years and is an elder. He is married to Vicki (Perry) Law, and they have 2 children, James Law and Leigh Ann Abston, and five grandchildren. He enjoys fishing and hunting and watching his grandchildren play sports.
Meet Our Minister
Dr. Nick Secula and his beautiful wife, Tiffany, have three wonderful children. He has been in ministry for over 23 years. He is a Christian educator and a Kentucky Licensed Pastoral Counselor. Nick and Tiffany have a private counseling practice in Bowling Green, KY. He is also teaches history course at SKYCTC as an adjunct instructor. He is currently working on a Doctor of Behavioral Health degree from Freed-Hardeman University. He has a Doctor of Ministry degree from Liberty University in Pastoral Counseling. Nick holds four master’s degrees, including a Master of Theology from South African Theological Seminary, a Master of Arts in History from APUS, and a Master of Theological Studies from NationsUniversity. He is also a Sunset International Bible Institute Graduate. Nick is a Kentucky Licensed Pastoral Counselor and is credentialed as a Certified Temperament Pastoral Counselor through the NCCA , as well as Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Provider. He brings his many years of experience, education, and training to his ministry here at the Bethany church of Christ.
